Lithium Disilicate options
e-max® – FCe crowns & veneers
e-max® full contour crown – genuine e-max® monolithic lithium disilicate crown, stained and glazed. Resin bonding can increase aesthetics as well as increase the strength of these crowns. Once completed, our e-max® crowns are etched and ready for insertion with no further crown treatment required. Our e-max® crowns are completed using only genuine Ivoclar e-max® products. Available as single crowns, veneers, or up to 3 unit bridges in the anterior and bicuspid regions. e-max® crowns, veneers, and bridges, can be traditionally cemented or resin bonded. For the best results Vitallab recommends resin bonding e-max® products when possible.

Zirconia options
PFZ crown (Vitallab product of choice).
Genuine e-max® hand-layered porcelain on a high strength zirconia substructure. Highly aesthetic and biocompatible. A zirconia primer such as Ivoclar’s Monobond Plus will increase the bond strength between the cement and the zirconia surface; however, this primer is not a requirement. Because zirconia can not be effectively etched, Vitallab recommends following your standard PFM cementation protocol for zirconia based crowns. Available as single crowns, veneers, and up to full arch bridges. Vitallab does not recommend zirconia for use as dental veneers.
Vitallab “Z” crowns
“Z”-FCP – Our standard full contour zirconia crown. This option uses high strength 1000Mpa+ zirconia which has a highly-polished finish. Zirconia crowns can be cemented or bonded. A zirconia primer such as Ivoclar’s Monobond Plus will increase the bond strength between the cement and the zirconia surface; however, this primer is not a requirement. Because zirconia can not be effectively etched, Vitallab recommends following your standard PFM cementation protocol for zirconia based crowns. Available as single crowns, veneers, and up to full arch bridges. Vitallab does not recommend zirconia for use as dental veneers.
“Z”-FCX- Our full contour polished zirconia crown milled from a high translucency 600Mpa+ zirconia block. This allows more light to pass through the material, resulting in a more translucent, and natural appearance. A zirconia primer such as Ivoclar’s Monobond Plus will increase the bond strength between the cement and the zirconia surface; however, this primer is not a requirement. Because zirconia can not be effectively etched, Vitallab recommends following your standard PFM cementation protocol for zirconia based crowns. Available as single crowns, veneers, and up to full arch bridges. Vitallab does not recommend zirconia for use as dental veneers.
“Z”-FCM – Our full contour multi-layer polished zirconia crown milled from a multi-layer colour-gradient 600Mpa+ zirconia block, giving a more natural looking result with a translucent body, as well as gingival and incisal shading. A zirconia primer such as Ivoclar’s Monobond Plus will increase the bond strength between the cement and the zirconia surface; however, this primer is not a requirement. Because zirconia can not be effectively etched, Vitallab recommends following your standard PFM cementation protocol for zirconia based crowns. “Z”-FCC – Our full contour zirconia implant crown stained and glazed with Dentaurum’s ceramotion® One Touch porcelain giving these crowns a 3D appearance. Our “Z”-FCC option is much more lifelike than the standard polished zirconia option. A zirconia primer such as Ivoclar’s Monobond Plus will increase the bond strength between the cement and the zirconia surface; however, this primer is not a requirement. Traditional crowns and bridges
PFM crown – (Vitallab product of choice). Porcelain fused to metal crown. The reliability of our genuine Ivoclar d’sign® porcelain fused to our standard semi-precious alloy core makes a porcelain-fused-to-metal crown a staple in dentistry. The reliability of PFM crowns and bridges is reflected in their still common use in the industry today. Available as single crowns, and up to full arch bridges.
FGC
alloy crown – (Vitallab product of choice). Commonly known as a full gold crown, a more accurate name would be a full alloy crown. Full alloy crowns are available in a multitude of alloys and vary in colour from a deep gold to a silver hue. Still common in dentistry today, a FGC makes one of the best occlusal surfaces available and are still the ultimate for crown margin accuracy. Our FGC crowns come in alloys ranging from 0% to about 90% gold content and often contain other elements which may include platinum, palladium, gallium, silver, zinc, and copper, among others. Available in single unit to full arch form, the lack of demand for metal anterior teeth, outside of the James Bond set, and for various other motion picture villains makes full alloy crowns effectively available in 1 to 4-unit form.
Attachments
Attachments to allow a bridge to draw, or to retain a denture, Vitallab has the equipment, components, and knowledge to provide solutions when an attachment is required for crowns, bridges, implants, dentures or combination cases. Partial and full overdentures can provide patients who already wear dentures with a significantly improved quality of life, and improved stability and retention.
